Wow.

I can't believe it's been nearly a year since I graduated. I'm being completely honest when I say that it has been one of the longest years of my life. So much has changed. I moved back home to Burbank and got to live with my family again for more than 3 months. It was the first time in 16 years where I didn't have school in the Fall. There was no set course for where I would go and what I would do. Luckily I had the good fortune of finding work related to what I learned in college. I was able to work on commercial sets, meet many knowledgeable industry professionals and get hands on experience in post-production. When I have down time now, I am learn to draw and I find myself looking more into graphic design.

Who knows what the next year will hold for me? I can only try my best and hope the path I am treading will bring me somewhere I love.

Hello Everyone,

It’s been a long four years at Cal State Monterey, but it’s about time to move on. I’ll be graduating on May 19th and then I’ll return to Burbank, California. I’m going to miss all the friends that I made during my time at school and I’d like to thank all of them for supporting me on my journey. If all goes well these last couple weeks, I’ll be completing my bachelor’s degree in Cinematic Arts and  Technology as well as my minor in Business.

There will be quite a lot of changes in my life over the next year or so. Like most graduates, I feel a bit nervous, but excited even more so. I’m ready to put what I’ve learned into action and start building the future I really want.

Monterey will forever hold a special place in my heart and I will never forget it.
